My name is Evan Hallward and here is my #intro.
We’ve been on the Aboard journey since fall 2019 (“the idea”), but things really ramped since the start of 2020. I laugh that COVID-19 has acted as a bit of an “accelerator” for our business due to the lack of travel, events, social gatherings, and commutes.
We’re building a platform to help organizations better manager & deliver new employee onboarding (#hrtech). Our MVP launch is August 7th with an envisioned customer launch in the 1 to 2 weeks following. We are a team of 4: 3 in #toronto (myself included, co-founder, and a part-time designer) and 1 in #vancouver (our highly talented CTO Shawn).
Our goals for the year are to launch the MVP and start working with a few dedicated early adopters who we envision drawing a small amount of revenue from. We are actively discussing as a founding team our options: raise on SAFE (F&F and/or angel), raise capital on income sharing (bootstrapping to that point), apply to accelerators, and/or fully bootstrapping.
